This page explains what personal data ScaleX handles, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. ScaleX is the trading name of SCALE X AGENCY (SSM 202403132985), a business registered in Malaysia and based in Kuala Lumpur. We handle personal data in line with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010. You can reach us at hello@scalex.my.

This website

The site has no accounts, no contact form and no advertising trackers. At the time of writing we do not run analytics or set cookies. Our host, Vercel, keeps standard server logs (such as your IP address and browser type) for security and to keep the site running. Fonts are served from our own domain, not from a third party.

When you message us

If you contact us on WhatsApp or by email, we receive what you send: your name, contact details, your message, and any details about your business that you choose to share. We use this to reply, to give you an assessment or a quote, to carry out and invoice work, and to keep a record of what we agreed.

Who else sees it

We do not sell personal data. It passes only to the services we use to talk to you and run the business, such as WhatsApp (Meta), our email provider and our hosting provider, and only so they can provide that service. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry messages for as long as we are talking to you, and client records for as long as we work together and for the period needed for accounting and legal purposes. After that we delete or anonymise them.

Your choices

• Ask to see the personal data we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct it, or to delete it where we have no need or duty to keep it.
• Withdraw your consent to us contacting you at any time.

Email hello@scalex.my and we will reply as soon as we can.

Links to other services

The WhatsApp buttons open WhatsApp, which has its own terms and privacy policy. We do not control how other services handle your data.

This site is for businesses and is not aimed at children.

Changes

If we add analytics, a contact form or anything else that collects data, we will update this page first. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
